For the class on May 22nd at 6pm, we will be making a Geometric Paper Collage and following along with Lisa Congdon on the Creativebug website. Did you know anyone with FDL library card can access the Creativebug website for free? We will show everyone how they can log into CreativeBug.com and explore all of the wonderful live and prerecorded classes and lessons that you can access anywhere using your phone, tablet or computer.
Cut &n Paste Club is for anyone who is interested in making and learning about collage, while meeting other fellow creatives. Collage describes both the technique and the resulting work of art in which pieces of paper, photographs, fabric and other ephemera are arranged and stuck down onto a supporting surface. The Idea Studio has a good collection of used and recycled books, scrap book paper and magazines available to cut up and collage with. Please feel free to bring any extra materials or supplies to use for yourself or to share with others.
Each meeting is held every other month, and we will feature a new technique or project for patrons to learn and follow along with. Everyone is also welcome and there is no registration required for this event. This event is open to everyone, but children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while they are in the Idea Studio.
Feel free to email any questions you may have to ideastaff@fdlpl.org
